Keeping up with Life

Updated: Feb 22

Keeping up with life is somewhat challenging. What I mean is that I have so many ideas, so many things that I want to accomplish and do, that is hard to keep up with everything. On one side of the chart, we have my personal goals and passions that I want to turn into my full-time job and get paid to do so. Then on the other, we have the job that I am currently working and getting paid.

I am learning so many things on this job and I am grateful for it, but it's not what I want to be doing for the rest of my life. What I really want to be doing for the rest of my life is being a psychologist, writer, and teacher.

I want to be a successful writer that has published books that people cannot stop reading, a writer that has traction not only with her books but also her blog and her podcast. I want to be able to monetize my podcast, but currently can't because Anchor only pays US-based creators which is a shame because there are so many amazing international podcasters that would like to turn their passion into something profitable.

At the end of the day, we all want to wake up in the morning and be excited to go to work. You should be excited to go to work because it's something that you love and enjoy doing. I love writing, whether it is creating a book, an article, or writing for an episode in my podcast. Since I love writing so much I really want to turn it into something profitable. To turn it into my full-time job that way I can enjoy working and have a fulfilling life because I am spending my time on something I feel passionate about.

So I am working on my books, my blog, and my podcast while also working on my other job. But what I am still trying to figure out is the balance to work on all of those things equally. For example the first book I am planning on releasing by October and currently, I am still working on the first chapter. I have an outline of what I am going to write in each of the chapters, but there is the fact that I still have to write the book. I have to find the time to write and finish the book, in order to send it to the publishing company.

For the blog and podcast, I am really trying to write and publish an article and episode every two weeks with different content on both sides and most of all just being consistent.

CONSISTENCY!! Consistency is what I am looking for to have throughout all my projects. And I have definitely not been consistent with my Youtube Channel, and it is something I am striving for. So one of my goals is to work on consistency.

Work on each project of mine just a little bit every day. Have backup articles, saved up episodes, and videos to publish on the day they are set to be released. Plan ahead of time.

In order to work on being consistent, I bought The Bella Edit notebook. This notebook is the perfect size to take with you wherever you go. Most importantly, it will help me keep track of my ideas for content, write a chapter of a book if need be, and just write down my thoughts.
